I dunno - A bridge too far??

Post by Rod_outbak » 04 Feb 2019, 5:57 am

Ordering more coffee online yesterday, and ran across this line of coffee from India.

See attached..

I dunno; I just DONT think I can bring myself to drink 'Mysore Nuggets Extra Bold'....EVER!

Might be the nicest coffee in the freaking world (Better than cat-poop surprise perhaps), but that name aint going to sell a lot of it in Australia at least...

Made me laugh at any rate...

Cheers,

Rod.

Rod
Considering the make up of the immigration mix now, with mostly Indians and the Chinese, there may be more people sucking on Mysore Nuggets than you think.

That sentence does not produce a good mental image

Blue veined cheese.

Seriously, who would look at that, smell the miasma leeching from it and then still taste it, and actually pay money for more.

But Phil The Greek is spot on, the people more likely to eat the most perverted crap than anyone is the Chinese.

I challenge anyone to find something worse than Virgin Boy Eggs.

Hoping back to our friends the Indians. Many of them consider cows as sacred (god even). So the is a very healthy industry that sells cow piss as a traditional medicine, they will also sprinkle cow piss on food items before eating for good luck, good health etc.....ya don't believe me youtube search it

Blue Vein Cheese is 10/10.

Can't hate on the cheese m8. You could say milk is gross, it comes from a cows thing that looks like a penis, chickens s**t eggs, etc etc.

End.

Jimmy, there is a whole world of difference between nice fresh, sweet tasting milk and some hideous smelling lump of congealed zombie pus that tastes as if it was aged inside an ebola corpse's rectum.

If you like stuff that tastes like month old roadkill, by all means take my share.

That's alright Mate,,,,,,, as long as you strain it through yer teeth to extract the "short and curlies" pubic hair before they get lodged in the back of yer throat.

This pic (although I already posted some time ago) could be weird enough to go with "mysore nuggets"

You could be relaxing on a lawn of this stuff whilst enjoying a nice cup of nugget brew.

It's funny how some languages or customs can be misleading in another countries interpretation.

I was told a way back (can't say whether it's fact or fiction),,,,,,,, that when the Pajero 4 x 4s were first released, the japs couldn't figure why
they were not selling well in one of the South American countries.

Apparently in that particular country the word Pajero was pronounced Pahero or Paero (something like that) and actually meant "Wanker"

Natural synthetic grass mat, hey?
Isnt that a contradiction in terms??

Yeah; I have a recollection of something about a Chevy 'Nova' also doing badly in South America.
Recall that they finally figured out that 'Nova' meant something akin to 'Doesnt Go'...

Is the Pajero sold as the 'Shogun' in South America for the reason you mentioned?

I read years ago about Coca-Cola trying to enter the Chinese market, and having problems with sales numbers.

Eventually, they tracked it to the Chinese characters used in the signage, which translated to 'Bite the Wax Tadpole'.
Sounds about as appealing as 'Mysore Nuggets Extra Bold'!!

Characters were subsequently changed to translate to 'An explosion of happiness in the mouth'!
[Probably a bit easier to sell that one...]

Don't know Mate, I only heard the original story.

The chinese aren't much better themselves.
I bought a little touch up spray gun once (made in china), and there was an exploded view page with it to help when cleaning etc.
In this there was a part that was given a number, and the full explanation of what it is, was printed next to the number.
The picture plainly showed a hexagonal threaded nut.

The corresponding explanation said "A sky of six angles"

:wtf: :unknown: It beat the f**k outta me.

The Girlfriend didn't understand my giggles, we certainly didn't eat there!
