Zeiss Terra 3X riflescopes

Hi all,

Waiting for my local store to get some in stock to put to my eye to. Wonder what feedback everyone's got in the mean time.

Looking at the Zeiss Terra 3X riflescopes, either the RZ6 or the RZ8.

Anyone got some feedback?

G'day,

Haven't used the RZ's, but I've got one of the Zeiss Victory HT's which I'm real happy with.

Zeiss have a pretty good rep for quality.

Deservedly so too.

I can't speak for the Terra 3X scope specifically either, but I've used the conquest and victory scopes on a number of occasions and they were good.

Zeiss Terra 3X riflescopes

I would buy a old conquest or a Beopta over the Terra unless you go for a Plex reticle.

The are still reasonable on euro optic or 4 scopes.

The reticles are useless at the best of times no angel compensation and just crap if in scrub or at 100m don't get somthing to busy in the reticles unless it is a dedicated LR set up as busy reticles just make for wasted opportunities on a hunting rifle.

I still haven't got around to this

Thanks for the reply guys.

Rob, I know what you mean about some of the reticles.

It's like looking through a fly screen on some of the busier ones. I'll be going with a reticle on the simpler side of things either way.

Maybe that's a reticle for people with no scope adjustment?

Still a fan of the Mil-Dot here.

Does everything you need. Doesn't get in the way. Winner.
