Winchester 760 is a fine ball powder while ADI 2209 is a stick powder.

yea I haven't used win powder for many many years, not stable enough for me but I did think the same as what you have said
what is printed in the berger manual pg 109 is that win 760 is made by hodgen and is H414,
I assumed it is the same as 2209 because adi makes hodgdon powders and H414/H4350 is the equivalent of 2209

Mmm, is it possible that ADI make it for Winchester but change the shape to ball?
The result would be same powder but slightly different burning profile.
