I don't have a link for this handy but from memory I read it in VIC firearms act.
The info was that restrictions to higher category firearms apply to the ones below it.
e.g. if the magazine capacity for C is 10, then a B or A category firearm cannot have a magazine capacity greater than 10 because that would exceed the classification of a category C firearm.
That is why is isn't listed specifically for cat A/B. It rolls down from the higher category firearms.
Similar to when things are written as "...allowed unless prohibited by another part of this or any other act". The magazine capacity is dictated from above and not specified along side the lower categories.
Maybe that's for Victoria only. I will try and find a link and post back.
