Fark. That's not good mate. Hope you heal quickly and well......

I tried 2 cheap chinese bore snakes, the 308 snake broke the 1st time i went to use it, and the 22 snake broke after maybe 5 or 10 uses

Thanks woosaah...
And no problems pulling the cheap ones through...?
(Sorry if thats what you mean, but im just clarifying)
Yeah, look the same and work the same. 1 Pull and bore is clean.

The same thing wears away the chamber when you use a cleaning rod which is why people use a bore guide.

I will take measurements with a micrometer, I will work out how many strokes per minute it does, then I will let it run for approximately 2000 strokes, IF there is any difference in the thickness of the material I will concede that after using a boresnake 2000 times a gun MAY be affected. using a cleaning rod that has metal parts is a different scenario, I will also do the same experiment with some thick copper wire, run it for 2000 cycles or until it breaks whatever comes first... can almost guarantee the copper will be exponentially more detrimental...

yeah I conclusively think that the bore snake rhetoric is just naysayers wanting to put s**t on others. Nothing substantial to any of it... just more of the same, "I dont want/use it so must be s**t/harmful"
