One nation gets setup with that nra scandal and gets grilled. Comrade bill and Penny Wong are on Chinese social media under assumed identities and gets political donations from a China state owned business and it’s a brief story with no grilling like Hanson got . We had a scandal in Brisbane where a public opinion poll for renaming a children’s hospital at much cost to the public was rigged with the bulk of the yes votes traced back to the premier palace-chooks own office . The reason for the name change was because the previous liberal premier had named it .A Chanel nine reporter broke the story and the premier wouldn’t reveal which of her staff members was behind it . Suddenly, it all went quiet and the story died. So much for transparency and accountability from comrade premier and the media

“Although we think of ourselves as professionals, journalism isn’t really a profession in the traditional sense. It’s not like medicine or the law. We have an ethical code of sorts, but we’re not bound to it by some solemn oath. There are no induction ceremonies in which people wear ridiculous gowns or hats. There’s no official body that can strike us off the roll for malpractice. And no one is suggesting there should be.
“The truth is that in traditional terms, we’re a trade. We’re pretty much self-regulated. If we stuff up, we publish a notice or an apology, maybe pay a fine if it’s serious, and we move on. We lose our jobs not because we lose our licence to practice but because our jobs either disappear or our reputations are damaged enough to mean our market value has crashed. If we’re unethical but valuable, there’s nothing to stop us, really.”

well , i'm shocked i never expected such unbiased honesty from waleed aly. that's a fair assessment of things. i think there should be a standard to which media should be held too instead of the free for all with no accountability we have now . i wonder if i can get the media to run a story on this it's not just the ABC, nor solely the left or the right . it's the media as a whole

The abc (thats an acronym for Another Biased Comentary), is so blatant with their reporting, I have problem listening to and watching it.
Every socialist agenda that there is out there floating about, and the abc is there, pushing it to the max!
Nobody would miss it's one sided reporting, so give it the chop, I say.
D'oh!

that's a scary thought that people in regional areas are being brainwashed by biased ABC . i think the abc needs to be reined in and have new standards set that are impartial and report all the facts. the ABC should be setting a standard . i won't watch a lot of abc shows. their in the same bracket as ten's "the project" . which is one of the most blatantly leftist agenda shows on air . left or right, the media needs a more professional approach and standard and accountability

All that brainwashing in regional areas doesn't seem to have any impact on how they vote.
