Would anyone happen to know if (and where?) you can still buy H&R Handi rifles for sale in Australia? Or are they badged as something else over here??

I got a message back from Raytrade, and they said the factory had stopped making them and they hadn’t seen any for 8 years. But then blokes seem to be able to find one here or there, like you duncan61. I’ll have a good ask around at Huntexpo in Melbourne this weekend and see what I can find out.

Neat little guns, values on them are climbing slightly in the USA as they are out of production and I think the factory that made them has even closed it's doors.

Web site still claims they are the largest producer of single shot rifles in the world.Who maintains a website if they are out of business

I would assume if a business stops trading the website would be shut down am I wrong??And I dont get the NZ reference.Enlighten me.Is it a tongue in cheek reference to the fact they have no access to semiautos??I really enjoyed my single shot Hornet and got a fox the first day I used it at the dairy farm where I worked.I rode the Quad out to a back paddock and zeroed of the seat.It had open sights on the way back a fox came out of the ditch and bounded away and I let one go sitting on the Quad and hit it in the back.Freaky shot as it was going out of sight and I counted down and let one go where I thought it would reappear.Doubt I could ever do it again.Anyhoo I sold it to a buddy as it was stolen on a community where I worked and the local people had carved there initials on the woodwork.

The website is aeons old now. They’re gone as far as manufacturing is concerned thanks to Remington (having purchased Marlin - who owned New England Firearms, 1871 AKA Harrington & Richards etc).
They’re solid little guns especially the forged SB-2 actions. Underrated as a result of their budget price.
I picked up an early Model 155 ‘Shikari’ (cast action) for a slab.....45-70Govt.
It’s a great rifle.
Single shots aren’t just for purists IMHO....everyone should give one a run. You can do far worse than a ‘Handi’.
Keep calm......and hold centre of mass.

Rossi.....not my cup of tea.
Is Henry importing their single shot? (Likely as a result of the demise of the Handi...).
Have seen little about it(?).

I picked up a Henry Single Shot in 243 through OSA a few weeks ago. It was the only one in any caliber that they had, it was from a cancelled order. It’s awesome as though.
