G'day gents.
I'm a new fullbore TR shooter.
I've got an old Sportco 44 second hand, with a barrel that hasn't been used much; all in all it shoots very nice & accurate.
However, all the sights (front & rear) are borrowed ones on it, and I'll need to get something of my own.
I'm wondering if anyone can help me.
When I look at rear sights online, they all seem to be fitting on some kind of rail on top (but I'm not sure) and I don't know what the fitting on mine is called. It's a short rail on the side. (I can provide a photo if that helps)
New sights online are also usually very expensive. I'm not sure what exactly will I need and very reluctant to jump into a thousand-dollar purchase that may not be good in the end.
Any pointers, advice, gents? Maybe someone has and old sight lying around? Online searches return rather little.
Even a second hand simple (koala) 22mm front with an eagle eye would do well for me - that's what I'm currently borrowing, and some simple rear sight.
Edit: I've since identified the sight, it's a "Central" one. So the question changes a bit; can it be replaced with a modern one, can they fit onto this type of mount or I need to get a used "Central"?
