With the load I've settled on, it's about 4 minutes (8") of drop from a 100m zero. Under typical Sydney coastal winds (10-20km/h), at 200m it's definitely not a 1 minute (2") gun, no more like a 2 minute (4") gun. However variance is mostly on the vertical, indicating inconsistent muzzle velocities, which matches my findings when I chronoed my loads.
Standard deviation is up around 20-30fps. But it's harder to achieve consistent velocities with a very fast powder like AR2205 (which the blk requires). Plus it has a long throat, so you're jumping the short rounds a fair way, which probably doesn't help with ignition.
But from field positional, ATM I'm not shooting much better than 2 minutes, so this gun is more accurate than I. And that's how I measure the effectiveness of a gun+cartridge.
There is a lot to like about this combo.
