Mauser M18 Vs Sauer 100

Hi all,

Just wanting to know if these are exactly the same firearm with the exception of the stock? Pictures of the bolt look the same but i cannot really confirm. Wondering if anyone can confirm. I have a Sauer 100 and couldn't be happier. If the Mauser is effectively the same, i'll pick one up while cheap.
I'd rather be hunting

The action designs are related, the two companies are owned by the same group. They have excellent quality barrels fitted to them. Why not get the Mauser?

Can confirm they are non identical twins, Magazine the same, Barrels off the same production line, Actions the same.

Sauer 100 is a bit heavier and but thats from the stiffer stock and finishes like cerakoting and a metal trigger guard.

Mauser M18 is basically the lightweight M12/Sauer100 with the same magazine, super accurate barrel and plastic trigger guard. Some call it cheap and nasty and poo poo it but at under $900 it it represent pretty good great value.
