It’s been neglected, but I don’t think it’s done a lot of work, bore and rifling look good, but lots of rust on the outside of the barrel, original sights, but missing mag. Any clue on how to remove the rust? It’s pretty heavy in spots, but I’d like to restore it back to reasonable or better condition.

Nice one mate, nice first choice for a rifle too.

thanks! shot sub 1" groups at 50m on Sunday, I'm sure it'll do better as I up my skills. Only complaint is the power of the scope, as I find it hard to see the bullet holes and want to stretch it to 75 and 100m.

Something to bear in mind if you are looking at upgrading yours.

Set for 50M.
If 25m aim half inch lower
If 75m aim half inch higher
If 100m aim 1 and 1/4 inch higher
Works nicely!
