I hear you! That thought is always front of mind when I think of competing in F class later this year. Tikka guarantees 1 MOA performance with factory ammo- but only for the 1st 3 shots......
I bought the lite as I wasn't sure where I wanted to go with it.....I joined a great "catch all' club that supports both hunting and target shooting. I decided at the time that If I hunt, I can keep that barrel but If I compete I can get a heavy barrel fitted later. Looks like I am gravitating to target shooting......

I read through your bent MDT chassis dilemma post with great interest before I ordered mine. I almost didn't order it -but I bounced a few questions off a few friends in the US who each have several MDT setups and they were all surprised looking at yours. I think you just got unlucky and they shipped you a lone bad one.
Plus I ordered a different model- the LSS Gen 2 XL - Southpaws have less choice.
But who knows- I have made many bad decisions before (mostly involving the pursuit of females, spending money or consuming alcohol- sometimes all at once!) and this could be one.
You will know if it is a bad choice because if my Chassis is as wonky as your's I will drag my sorry @$$ back to this forum and 'fess up.
Did the new chassis arrive and everything get sorted in the end?

Next step- get it down to .25MOA.
