How long for A/B?

Hi All. How long is FAR taking to process Cat A/B applications? Does having a full Cat H speed things up?

Have a look in the Australian Gun Laws section, lots of updates in there for each state.

I've never seen any example of existing licenses speeding up a new application, your existing H just means you're certain they have no reason to reject your A/B

In NSW, you can monitor the status of your PTA at this link https://apps.police.nsw.gov.au/FPR/lice ... search.jsp

Once the PTA has been issued, it should arrive in 5-8 working days.
At what point does lack of maintenance become patina?

Not the permit, the actual license. Ive just joined a hunting club and passed safety and hunting test. Need to submit asap.

Right, my mistake. Been a long time since I got my license, so can't really speculate about that. Sorry. In2.

average processing time was 71 days in July for Cat A/B. You can check this by searching for 'firearms registry performance dashboard" which is updated each month
