Not sure where Else I would put this nor am I sure anyone on this forum would be interested.
After some months talking to the QLD weapons licensing branch I got a path to build myself a matchlock musket.
The barrel is from an Iver Johnson shotgun,
The stock was made from an English Walnut stock blank.
The rest was made from bar stock.
I added sights today and still need to do some adjustments as the hammer is not placing the match as consistently as I would like and a few others bits.
Calibre is 62 barrel length is 27"
Weight is not much. I am pleased with myself.
