Usual warranties are voided if you feed it hand loads or change anything like trigger components

Following with interest as I'm in the same boat. I've only just applied for my licence here in SA so I'm still a month or two away from making a purchase at least, I'm really keen to see a T1X in the flesh and see some reviews on it before I make the choice between either an LA101 or a T1X.
I love the idea of buying an Australian made Rifle but the weight does seem like a bit of a drawback, I'll be mostly hunting foxes and rabbits with the plan to do the odd bit of range shooting.
I'm still tossing up between a 22LR and a 17HMR as well. I like the idea of 17HMR for its accuracy and range and it's probably a bit more potent against bunnies and foxes but I like the idea of spending less than a dollar a shot....
Easy come, easy go.

Hi all. I’ve got a cz455 synthetic carbon. Only used a few times at a range and pretty happy with it. Yes it does have the little infill beside the mag to allow for the .17hmr or 22wmr mag. This is not a negative since it allows the flexibility to use 3 different calibers. Would’ve liked a timber stock but on a tight budget.

G'day TBJ,

If you're looking at a Weihrauch be sure to check the quality and alignment of the stock. I have an HW 60 J in .222 Rem. The stock was not true from new and required relieving as it was warped, bending to the left. The rifle action is brilliant and now, as the rifle has been professionally bedded and the barrel floated, the thing is good for inch groups at 100 yards. It has a heavier barrel than my Anschutz 1532, also in .222 Rem. One other thing a Pommy shooter told me about was that he was having trouble with spent cases jamming after firing in his Weihrauch. I have had no problems.
