FFS, this thing is not a flu virus, mutated or not!! There are no coronaviruses that cause influenza. At best, it might be discribed as a "sister virus to the flu" (google that term)
So, if you please, let's call it for what it is, which is at worst, nothing more than a "COLD" (four of the viruses that cause the common cold are coronaviruses, this one now makes it five).

There are seven coronaviruses we know of including this newly discovered covid 19, that can infect people.
They cause respiratory infections that range from the common cold to more serious diseases.

Rather than regurgitate propaganda of one kind or another, those that wish to be better informed on many aspects of of this current issue could benefit from reading the following article

"They MAY cause respiratory infections that range from the common cold to more serious diseases."
A sister virus to the flu will give you flu like symptoms, but are NOT flu viruses themselves. Influenza A/B, nor any of their sub types are coronaviruses. However there are 15 of the 50 odd known "Sister viruses to the flu" that are coronaviruses.
Four coronaviruses are know to cause the common cold, this is just a fifth one.

Regarding pseudoscience, I am curious what you believe that to be.
I read the article and found it informative and offering perspectives worth considering.
As for "kook" websites, do they get classified as such because they host content contrary to what you unconditionally accept as gospel.
For that matter, there is no shortage of conspiracy peddling on this website. So does that mean it too is one of your "kook" websites.
Surely now that it has been brought to your attention you will have to place Enoughgun on your Index Librorum Prohibitorum.

This went from a thread on how the police were illegally accessing a person's medical records to a thread on how corona virus is nothing more than a common cold/bio weapon/socialist control measure (depending on your viewpoint).

While it was entertaining to watch the idiots argue about which Facebook article was the truth and which one was a lie I think I can now understand why police are accessing those medical records

I have many scars from angle grinders which sometimes required stitches.
I seriously do not need the police accessing my medical history.

no one taught you how to use a grinder? and no I am no noob to any power tool much less grinders, I have literally never even come close to harming myself or anyone else with a grinder. I cant even imagine how you would be harming yourself with one.

Ahh this Suite never disjointed, from the members using kooky websites written by crazy fanatics when taking about cronavirus. But then not agreeing when the same websites deny climate change or gun violence.

To a guy who was a failed businessman a serial cheater a misogynist and a guy with serious netball health problems who everyone things is a saint.

I never use an angle grinder or.... any power tools as my tool is so big that it gets in the way... i can never understand why all the female GPs want to give me an examination when i go in for a visit for my monthly flu injection

I've seen a few.
Main contributing factors usually include one of the following:
Guard has been removed.
Using a very large angle grinder. Or
Used in awkward position. e.g. on ladder.
The greatest invention in the history of man is beer.

I ran a fab shop for 7 years and grinder injuries were the most common. Typically just a slip into forefinger knuckle or webbing forefinger/thumb. 1 mil cutting disks straight through the gloves.
We did have a guy working with us for a while who had previously sliced deep into his chin, through bone with a 9 inch grinder. He was cutting steel mesh propped up on the floor and it grabbed, kicked up into face. That’s the worst i know of.
I would’nt put too much stock in ziggy’s comment. He’s an expert in every profession under the sun with 30 years experience haha

The grinder thing is a bit of an inside joke that goes way back. It is especially pleasing though when threads end up comparing grinders regardless of the original topic.

I had a close call with an angle grinder. I was using a cutting disk to grind. Knocked a ball bearing loose somewhere, metal guard started spinning like crazy and the whole thing started shaking violently, it tore the skin off both my palms just trying to hold onto the thing. No chance I could have yanked the cable or flicked a switch on or off the machine. The guard eventually broke off and flew about 10cm close to my face and it soared past and ended up in a box that was up close to the ceiling. Disk exploded. But that just hit my legs leaving no serious damage. Just a bruised ego and peeled skin on the hands.

I've seen 3 series injuries from angle grinders, all involved cutting discs, those things cut flesh like a hot knife through butter.
Every incident as a result of taking shortcuts (no punn intended)

First was a boiler maker who almost cut all his junk off because he was set up poorly cutting steel right next to his groin. A heap of stiches and a lot of ribbing from his workmates about his self vasectomy was a small price to pay...

Second was a boiler maker who couldn't be bothered pulling the plug to change discs, he grasped the disc to spin it off without using the proper tool and hit the button, he almost lost 4 fingers.

Third was my stepfather, he was working under a plant trailer with a 9", he thought he'd save a heap of time by not lifting the trailer on its end with the crane, the grinder got away from him and he cut deep through his inner thigh from his groin to half way down his knee missing his femoral artery by only millimetres.

It's soo easy to become complacent with power tools.
Gun control requires concentration and a steady hand
