I can see how it would work for some farmers, I have a block I hunt near home 30k away and old mate was leaving the dogs on the river to clean up the wallabies and they did there bit for sure till they started packing up and harassing the young cattle then they had to go?

Tis a good thing to try and balance nature where you can,,,, but it ain't an easy task, and the boundary lines tend to keep shifting.

Well done.
When making food lures, let it sit for 3+ days to get some smell to it but not rotten. Then add a preservative to fix it at that stage.

What can be used as a preservative? I just left it in the sun for 3-4 weeks

Same preservatives used for making sausages. Don't use it at any more than 3-5% of the weight of the meat. Use the meat in chunks of half inch to one inch.

Good meat is wild animal such as roo. Very best is the meat from a big feral cat.

The meat should be tainted so it just starts to smell that it is going off. It then still has appeal to eat, smells attractive but is not rotten.

Property owner just txt me with another in the trap that’s 4 from the one trap site and 13 all up only been at it 5 months

Does it have to be chunks or can you blend meat into a paste?

Can be paste but it has no benefit compared to chunks which tends to keep smelling longer.

i help those out that help me, if im allowed to prospect hunt or fish on a place ill chuck traps out while im there and on some places i get a bit of beef or helped out in ways other than money so im sorter not doin it for free but im cool with doin it anyway
