My old swede loves this ammo since it is similar to the military loading at 140 grains so I always grab a large box when I can.

Maybe try the smaller box of 20 first to see if your 6.5x55 likes it?
I just wanted something here...

G'day luvmeadler,
Very consistant, as good as or better than PPU and equal to m/41. I have used S&B in 6.5x55, 7.5x55, 8x57 and 303, all of it fantastic. The only issue I have is that the composition of the brass is too hard making handloading problematic so I have to anneal after every firing but even then it doesn't last as well as PPU, Cheers.

I use S&B 150 grain in the 30/30, and it shoots great. Also reasonably priced.

S&B, never had an issue with quality. They've been making ammo and components for such back into the 1800s.

S&B seem to be making decent quality ammo, had good results with their 17 Hornet stuff

Hi mate

I haven't used it.
But I have reloaded some of their brass that was given to me. I find their primer pockets to be a little tighter and getting primers in can sometime require the primer pocket to be cleaned out. This has happened on several different calibers.

The brass itself seems ok for reloading.

I only used 204 and 303 factory stuff. Worked perfectly fine. Have reloaded to brass. I seem to remember the primer pockets being tight on the 204 Ruger and that was using the Sellier and Belot primers.
