A gun-porn post here for me who'll never be bothered to get his pistol license

If you could walk into a store and get the pistol of your dreams, what would you get? :D

I shot that exact model at a range in Thailand Lorgar, it's a damn fine piece of metal.

I'd love a .22 6 shot revolver but wont bother because for some unknown reason its not legal to carry one while hunting.... it would be great for finishing off anything that might need a second shot or for just a bit ofplinking.

Your certainly right on_one_wheel , a .22 pistol would be simply brilliant for a hunter or farmer! Itd be very useful yo be able to carry a .22 pistol ( Even a single shot) on the farm to euthanise injured animals.

Definitely my first pick for a pistol.

That and a classy revolver would do me nicely.

I'd love one of the AMT Automag's. Preferably in .30 carbine. Failing that, a nice Luger

I haven't fired one but I'm sure a 500S&W can't be fun to shoot.

I'm winning to compromise and get a .44 mag though I guess 8-) :D

I would like something in the realm of a Ruger SR22 pistol. I went hunting for the first time on the weekend, and I was pondering how convenient a pistol would be when I was carefully climbing up a rocky hill with my Savage MKII whilst looking for rabbits.

I reckon I've got it covered with these two.

Ruger Single 6.

460 XVR Smith and Wesson.

Cheers, Baz.

$4,500 US :(

That would probably be $7,000 - $8,000 here if someone wanted one.

I second that, except in reverse. I am hanging out for an artillery luger, a couple of years ago I sold my 1916 Erfurt so I could buy an artillery model complete with snail and leathers but the seller pulled out and kept it(still has it and I am still not speaking to him).

I am very patient.
