Nice, but do they have 4kg bottles? 1kg doesn't go very far - that's only 500rds of .204, 600rds of .223 or 270rds of .30-06 :-)

Price should be around $140 for a kg now due to recent price rises.

I bought 4kg bottles of all my powder last time I bought some, and will probably need a restock within the year

Yeah well, it’s good that adi powder is circulating again, it’s projectile stocks that are worrying me . I used to look up what I wanted on rebel gun works website and pick from a large range. There doesn’t appear to be much stock in the country and no one knows when more is due

It was $58 a 500g bottle in Melbourne early last year. But yeah 4kg works out really good price.

I reload for myself, my old man, uncle, brother in law, and a couple mates as well, hence using as much as I do, I would suggest that match shooters like F class are using more powder than me.

That lets you off the hook ;) :) ZaineB seeing as how you have "friends and family" to support
But seeing as how you are here and speaking of eating gunpowder, I recall a saying about some old codgers having battery acid and granite chips for breakfast but what was the one about gunpowder and something else :?: :unknown:

I can choose from a very large selection without having to go anywhere ;-)

I'm actually in the process of reorganising my storage. I might even do a bit of a stock take so I know what I have. I have bullets that don't even fit any firearms I have...yet :-)

That particular gun shops mark ups on some items are absurd. I usually drive down to Brissy when I want stuff.

I don’t mind paying more to support local business if I can see additional costs incurred then passed on in obtaining merch.

I’ll draw the line at gouging thou. I’m not backwards in coming forward letting local business know that there pricing on items isn’t consecutive with other retail, sometimes they’ll match, other times I shop elsewhere.

Yes and no. I visit my daughter down there at the same time. Bit it is the principle. One example - rifle rest that sells in Brisbane for $79 is $125 in the shop up here. That’s gouging at its best.

There's a store in Perth that is absolutely ridiculous on prices, usually a good 30% over everyone else. cant say who cos forum rules, but lets just say I cannot believe anyone shops there, its mind blowing.

Rarely purchase from either LGS. Drive an hour once a year and stock up if I need to.
