Well it is now up and running again.
I removed the two black buckets (they were too cramped, and they used to squeak on clothing)
I replaced them with an as new bench seat (ISRI Brand) out of a Mercedes van.
Had to cut 4" off the base box so the seats won't hit the gutter on the carport.
Then Mig'd it all back together and included a fully seal floor plate, and lined one side of the storage compartments with extra thick styrene foam to be used as a large storage esky.
Because the seat was originally fixed in position, I bought heavy duty roller slides and built them into it as well.
Adjustment of position is now easily done with one single lever, and is in 1" increments.
For those that expected cup holders in the original version,,,,, voila
Check these babies out.
Tried it out last night in the bush for 10 hours, and I'm pleased to say that it works very well, is comfortable, and quiet.
Edited,,,,,, I forgot to add the pics
I do not fear death itself... Only its inopportune timing!
I've come to realize that,,,,, the two most loving, loyal, and trustworthy females in my entire life were both canines.
