Removing Winchester M37A action from barrel

Hey guys,

I'm taking my old Winchester apart to reblue it and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove the action from the barrel

I would greatly appreciate some help on this

Now the front timber is off, you should be able to open the action and it will swing down and come off in your hand.

Nah when I opened it and swung it down is seemed to be catching on something.

I just tried a little brute fires and that worked so crisis averted

Yeah I will post pictures, I can't guarantee the end product will be any good because I've never done it before

I've just removed most of the surface rust and old Blueing and it's looking pretty good, long way to go though
