IPSC SHOTGUN with a pump action!

Good day, mates

I´m a brazilian shooter and I ´d like to know if in Australia the disarmament politics are so hard and disgusting as is in Brazil...

Someone here uses a pump action shotgun to compete at IPSC? Or shoots at CLASSIC division with a 1911 45acp caliber?

Pump shotguns are Cat C which are restricted to primary producers, pest control and those that can get a disability exemption for trap shooting. You wont see them in IPSC here I highly doubt.

No pumps here in IPSC.
Why are you operating the pump manually? If you pull the shotgun into your shoulder with your left hand it will function like an auto, cycling the action during recoil.

Sorry to hear this. I thought that the Australian laws were not so though to shooters.

G'day ANDREGOD,
Laws here can vary by State to some degree, I can use a 1911 in 45ACP here in my State of Victoria, I also shoot mainly Combined Services and use 44 Mag etc. We cannot use Pump Action shotguns in Victoria for competition without a medical certificate, Cheers.

In WA pumps and autos are legal for IPSC but you can't take that gun out to shoot clays or bunnies. Stupid!
