Apparently mate. Price , $12 per 50box,( smaller outback store)

My own tests with Stingers I never got published speeds with any barrel length either. More like 1560fps instead of 1650fps on the box...( velocitors claims are similarly exaggerated, usually more like 1360fps, not 1450fps on the box) Both still great rounds, but yeah not sure how they came up with their velocity claims, I have never seen them achieve it.

Found one youtube review for the aguila stuff doing more than the box, 1750fps !. Thats a bullet only 2 grains lighter than the stinger(32 grains) , an honest 200fps faster....

However some other reviews showed spreads of 1500-1700fps from ammo in the same box. It was from a semi-auto though, so maybe varied the bullet speed more?.. Im not sure.

Might test some this weekend across the pro-chrono in my 18" ruger

Cheers, as far as specified speeds go it’s a mystery. I crony the Sellier Belliot sub 40G at 1080fps their website says 300MPS which is 984fps. This got me interested in the EU 22LR ammo more, so I’m keen on trying out new options other than the USA stuff on offer.

I have a few different high velocity types on hand now- stingers, coppers, velocitors, aguila supermax, federal punch and remington yellow jackets and will chrony and post results.

tried A at the range via my Lithgow 101 off a bench and it was inconsistant. Others at the range had the same experience. Plinking ammo but not much else.
