Just thinking here, why not allow hunters to hunt them year round and collect $440k instead of it costing taxpayers $440k.

I know, I know, stupid idea. Carry on with the choppers.

Silly man.

They actually do that in Victoria for about 6 months in a few select NPs. But stupidly it's illegal to shoot pests such as foxes at the same time.
