I read another pie in the sky "solution" to the feral problem today, gene drives.
Basically, genetically modifying cats, foxes, etc to produce infertile individuals or male only progeny and RELEASING them into the wild.
The idea may sound good to a city based double-dome intellectual, but the downside?
It would take DECADES to start working, if at all.
This while the obvious elephant in the room, bounties, is yet again ignored.
When we have had bounties, they've worked, when people were allowed, before the environazis, to wear fox fur, foxes were decimated.
Softcockery has got us where we are.
