Hi there just wondering if any one out has had anything to do with 303/22 sprinter there’s tow types of 303/22s the falcon which is a full length 303 case necked down to .22
And there’s the sprinter version which is trimmed down to a shorter case than necked down to .22
They don’t seem to be common at all I’ve never seen another one
At one time they did make factory loads for them I’ve got a few really old boxes of empty brass
They are very out of date now I’ve never used it was left to me years ago along with dies for sizing and loading
Has anyone got i idea of trim length be for sizing I haven’t been able to find any info on that side of it ADI does show a few loads for 2205/06 while board I was thinking of loading some just to put a few down it see how it goes.
The rifle was originally made by a gunsmith in the lower hunter who passed many years ago don Mac Cara was his name not 100% on the spelling and after that he developed his on version based on a .243 case necked down trimmed an formed to .22 he called 220 string ray which only 4 I believe was made not a 100% just the story behind it I was told
Out of curiosity I’d thought I’d ask if anyone know anything about the sprinter cases other than very old out of date kind of a thing.
