Duck Hunting Victoria

Hi guys

I’m based in Victoria and have just started getting into duck hunting. I’ve heard it can be challenging to break into the hobby without knowing others who are already involved. I was wondering if anyone has advice on how to connect with other hunters or if anyone might be open to mentoring me and taking me out on a few hunts to learn the ropes. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

go to wild game dinners and join clubs and get out and try some will see you trying and give you advice and take you on every one has to start some place.
most just don't want to just hand out were they tend to go they don't want to show up the next year to a army of guys in a spot they did the home work to find

Tried it once. Wasn't very successful even though I like duck. Saved the ammo and went to buy same ffrom a game farm. Those of you who like duck hunting, go for it and enjoy.
