I've had my old Ruger sitting around for a few months, finally got to scoping it so I had a backup rifle for taking friends to the range of whatever else. I picked up a VX-1, mounted it and headed out.
I'm sighting in at 50m and am about 1.5 feet low. Trying to adjust and I find out out of elevation

Scope must be screwed... Great...

Aaaand then I realise I've mounted it sidewards

Made me happier... for the price of looking dumber in front of my friends
