I like my Tikkas. They are generally very accurate out of the box and for the quality and accuracy they're reasonably priced, IMO.
I'm assuming with the cartridge choices here the .243 will be a varmint and small game gun while the .300wm will be the large game gun (duh).
If you're looking at buying new...
A Tikka T3 Lite is about $1,000. Less if you get a Lite with a synthetic stock, more if you get a model with a walnut stock.
Putting a Leupold VX-1 3-9x40mm on your .300wm will cost you about $300.
A VX1 4-12x on the .243 for a bit more magnification for varminting is about $400.
Call it $1,400 per rifle average to do it all new. Second hand could be done 25% cheaper or whatever.
