Can someone tell me what rifle this is?

And is it factory carbon fibre stock or would it be custom?

Looks schmick.

It looks like a Browing X bolt with a hydro dipped stock or could be a pattern laid into the stock laminations in some way .

Thanks for the reply. Well i went and got the X-Bolt Carbon Fiber in 7mm-08, here are a few photos of the gun at the store that the guy took for me.cool

doesn't look like real carbon, a normal polymer stock dipped or vinyl wrapped

Maybe they're not available in Australia?

They are here in the US for about $400 more than the normal X-Bolt.

I would avoid carbon fibre stocks,carbon fibre reacts electronically with other metals resulting in corrosion.

Being black it will get hot if left in the sun,depending on resin used it may be close to the Tg limit of the resin.
