I may be wrong but I think for cowboy action the calibre and style of firearm had to be available at the time period you're portraying. So the 1887 fits but I would think the styling of this is too modern even though it functions basically the same. Like I said I could be wrong though

hope there released soon tho at a reasonable price this fixes the downfalls of th 87 but still looks classic-cool enough to be acceptable to customs and others
