The scope itself has no photo or recording capability but does have a cable providing video out (PAL or NTSC) and power in. It's easy enough to take a snapshot of the video when reviewing in most editing programs. I getting impatient about getting some footage of actual wildlife with this scope, might have to visit the wildlife park with it
