CAT A Magazine restrictions Victoria

G'day guys

I was wondering if anyone knew where it stated that cat A rifles had a magazine restriction on them?

I keep seeing that the 25 round magazines are restricted but I can't find the legislation to see why.

Limits in vic are:

detachable magazine with a capacity greater than 10 shots in combination with a pump or lever action centre fire rifle; or
detachable magazine with a capacity greater than 15 shots in combination with a bolt action centre fire rifle; or
detachable magazine with a capacity greater than 15 shots in combination with a pump, lever or bolt action rimfire rifle—

Note:
-No limit for fixed mags.
-Limits apply to sport shooting and hunting, not PP.

Wow it looks like a pain in the arse to import magazines, I guess if you were going to do it you would want to do multiples at a time.

Or split things across a couple of different act's to really make it hard to know if you're doing the right thing

Yea I rang up LGS and they said they couldn't import them which was pretty stupid even though they are legal.
