G'Day
I use Woodleigh 220gn RN with AR-2213-SC and WLRM Primers. I don't work up the load to the maximum either.
As can be deduced from the following pic, the projectiles perform very well. I have taken Sambar, Fallow, Red Deer, Buffalo, Camels, Pigs etc.. with the 220gn W65C. The projectile in the pic was retrieved from the opposing shoulder of a Sambar stag, he went down like he was hit by a bolt of lightning.

The Protected Point 200gn are an excellent choice also.. I consider both the 200gn PP and 220gn RN, to be excellent choices for the .300 with regards to Sambar or any other big game on the planet for that matter.. Woodleigh make nice projectiles IMHO..
The 200gn PP's have a rec. impact velocity of 1900-2900fps and a SD of .301 / BC .450
The 220gn have a rec. Impact velocity of 1900-2400fps and a SD of .331 / BC .367
The 220gn is just something else to consider.
Edit.. Due to/ replacing pic after Photobucketofcrap, revoked free 3rd party hosting..
Cheers
