I have a skinner sight on my .22 lever action. They are all solid blued steel, stainless , brass or a combination of two.
You probably won't get them in Australia, you will need to order directly from the website.
They are windage adjustable with an inbuilt dovetail held firm by a grub screw. Elevation is adjusted by loosening a different grub screw and then rotating the peep sight up and down its thread in 180 degree increments.
They are much more accurate than open sights, the trade off being slower target acquisition and you can't adjust elevation on the fly.
Skinner are excellent quality and an OEM option on many rifles including Henry. It should be noted if you use a receiver mounted peep sight there is a good chance you may have to replace the front sight for a taller one. Don't buy both at the same time though. Buy your rear sight, test it on paper, then get a new front sight only if required.
As far as which model, they all do the same thing , purely an aesthetics choice. A couple of the slim line models don't have windage adjustment though. But really , how often do you adjust windage on non scoped sights.
Arpeture size is a personal preference, the smaller you go the more focused your point of aim, but the smaller your field of view and slower target acquisition. The size that comes standard with the sights are a good compromise.
I will post a photo later
