What reloading supplies can be bought by mail order in Queensland? Is it just projectiles and brass? It's a bit of a drive to Cleavers or The Barn for me.

Our local firearms dealer used to order quite a few things from Cleaver for me, and they'd get a big enough discount to be able to sell the item to me, to make it financially worthwhile for themselves.
They've since shut their doors; retirement and lack of interest in anyone buying the business(included farm chemicals and livestock supplies, etc).

I believe they started this deal, after a visit by Tony Cleaver, in the early 2010's.
In my mind, THIS was a smart move by Cleaver's.
It made Cleaver's more a wholesaler, rather than a direct competitor with any [distant] retail outlets who were participating in the scheme.

I know I bought a Ruger 10/22, as well as a Magpul stock, and a range of accessories from Cleavers, but through my LGS, and they were happy with the arrangement.

My dealer told me that he occasionally bought through Cleaver to pass onto customers. I never asked him to do that so I don't know the details. Cleaver's import stuff themselves that isn't available through distributors (like the Umarex Ruger 10/22 air-rifle) so perhaps it was that.

Basically anything that's not ammo, powder or primers. Everything else.

Yeah I know it's a pain, tell me about it.
I've had 5 thou of FED 215 LRM and the same of Win LRM primers sitting there paid for, for a month now waiting for an opportunity to swing past to pick up. Maybe over Chrissy if the days line up. Just the way it is for us.
To go there and back is basically a day, plus the fuel, lost day on essential farm jobs and the inevitable carpark on the ridiculous organisational clusterf*** that is Cunningham's Gap, the roadworks that last someone's whole working career.

There's been a drought of magnum primers suitable for big cases that take 100gns or more of powder, already bought some from The Barn but then Cleavers popped up with both for $5-7/100 cheaper a few days later so I couldn't help myself. Doh.

A couple of times I've rung Cleavers and been told "We won't have that item in stock until next year." Oh, okay, buy from someone else (E.g. down in Victoria ... and go through all the rigmarole). Next thing, few weeks later, Cleavers has the aforesaid item in stock. Sigh.

I placed an order for a few thousand bullets last week, they rang to tell me they expect them in the new year, so I cancelled the order and I'll order them again next month.
