Yeah I know I'm just wondering why no one has put it forward to the government

Heaps of hunters would love them here, I'm sure.
Including me.

Quieter the better, in my book. Gets on my nerves after a few hours cutting.

I would love one, and would/will buy if they're legalised.
It's not about noise while hunting... I'm not worried about startling the grassI'm worried about my hearing.
If it was 25% quieter at the range (that f-ing tin roof at Little River) and it reduced the peak enough I could walk around hunting without ear muffs that would do me just fine.

That's all the debate should be. Not all our stupid polly / nanny state nonsense.
If you personally don't want one don't buy one.
and personally I wouldn't waste the $$ on one anyway for the types of shooting I do ($300-$400 or more no doubt by the time that add some sort of license and purchase fee etc to em) as we know the Gov't love screwing people out of their hard earned at any given opportunity.
