That's ridiculous

You really feel that way because you can't buy a 'solvent trap adaptor'?
Instead of the 'Woe is us' rhetoric why aren't we pushing the use of suppressors because they make sense?
Greater personal safety, less public impact....put forward the same arguments as in the UK and NZ.
We've got work to do before pushing this barrow.....but enough of the 'the country is doomed' bs.

There's more you can do.....
Get involved. Through clubs, through SSAA, through the Shooters Union.
We all know the law is an ass.....but by closing ranks and growing our sport we can gain greater strength and lobby with greater weight.
It's no easy push.
As shooters we've got to be prepared for the long haul.....but we're used that.

Legally I'd say a adapter is fine its and a oil filter separate is fine but when you use the oil filter with the intention of making it less audible is the problem.
2 years is a long time what a joke.
Here in the states the guys selling them at gun shows always look like BATFE agents in disguise

Are they that easy to spot

Oh yeah, like a sore bloody thumb. At a lot of the bigger gun shows the BATFE also sets up a table and is staffed with an agent or two.
