It's so sad to see these partially illiterate ?women that unfortunately believe what they are saying.
I doubt any one of them could lay claim to living on a farm and or witness the destruction of "true" native wildlife by foxes.
As a teenager I got one aged approx 8 weeks old, and reared it as a pet.
I had it desexed, and it lived to the ripe old age of 14 years.
It was very friendly, loved petting, and loved children,,,,, and NEVER ever bit anyone.
BUT,,,,,,,,,,,,,It spent its entire life in a large enclosure with concrete floor specially built for it,
Or, was outside on a leash.
As loving as it was, if I let it go loose there was no guarantee that it would come back when called,
If it got loose and didn't come back, it would have killed native wildlife just like its wild cousins.
I managed to train it to do quite a few things, but it certainly was nothing like a domestic dog.
And yes,,,,, I shoot foxes because I know the damage they do.
I do not fear death itself... Only its inopportune timing!
I've come to realize that,,,,, the two most loving, loyal, and trustworthy females in my entire life were both canines.
