Moly has been the standard coating for donkeys years.
Reduces friction heat and cleaning intervals. You will lose some velocity with the pressure loss from reduced friction though.
Boron coating is a new arrival for this. I don't really know much about it to be honest, it's supposed to be a bit safer for you, chemical wise.
Moly can combine with moisture to start a corrosive effect too which Boron won't.
With all that though, personally I find it way to much work without seeing a practical benefit for myself.
Personally I'd say if you're just starting reloading you could do with one less thing to muck about with. IMHO.
