is .375 H&H common and easy to find?

I'm looking for a high calibre Sako 85. I'm thinking .375H&H but I want to be able to buy ammo at any gun store easily. Is it common?

Same haven't had issues buying factory ammo, brass or projectiles.

Yeah easy enough.

Might not be stacked up high on shelves like something as common as .30 cal, but it's not exactly rare.

Most shops would have a little stock in store all the time (outside the usual shortages which effect everything).

Stop up a little when you got shopping each time, I wouldn't worry about it.

I see it regularly. Most, if not all, places carry a little bit. Not losts, just a bit, but it can be found. Unlike some of the other big game rounds...

The H&H is more a 'mid' calibre....though quite.... 'energetic' but a stepping stone until you move up to something serious   ;)

It is very common, and will definitely be available at every retailer, but you'll probably only buy 1, perhaps 2 boxes before you reload..($$)...also for projectile choice...

I think my mate said it was around $10-$12 a shot for the factory stuff he was using. Nice cal and I enjoy shooting it.

I concur with the other blokes about its availability, but your percieved problem is a little back to front.
Finding game that really needs the caliber is more difficult (not as common) than finding the ammo itself.

I picked up a sh!t load of factory stuff from a guy that had sold his rifle, and it was far cheaper than buying over the counter,,
so keep checking what is advertised and you could have a win.
I do not fear death itself... Only its inopportune timing!
And,,,,It's been proven,,,,, the most trustworthy females in my entire life were all canines.
