Autumn Bunnies

Well the little .223 shined again last Saturday, 6 bunnies went to heaven and 5 have found a new home in my freezer , the range was from 245 to 320 yards in a nice little crosswind. and overcast to cut down the mirage.
Because I know keep the meat to sell, I have cut the range back a little to reduce the risk of gut shooting them, I will only keep the saddle and rear legs and leave the front stuff to the foxes.
Im not particularly keen on trying to head shoot them at long range, cos its all too easy to blow ow off a jaw etc which I did with the 22-250 a few weeks ago a 400 yard shot which saw the little bugga run down his hole with half a face ...not a pretty sight.
Yeah they are "only" Bunnies but they dont deserve to suffer a lingering death,
