I actually bought this exact stick a few weeks ago, I went for the cheap option to see if I like this style of pod before outlaying the cash on one of the Primos trigger sticks.
My initial thoughts are it's not bad for the $$$, I've played around with it at home resting my rifles on it and looking through the scopes at objects to see how steady I can stay on target and it's pretty good. I seems reasonably lightweight but I reckon you would start to notice it after a while lugging it around the bush as well as a rifle and pack, doesn't worry me as I'm a bit of a pack horse but some people may not like it.
It's not as compact as I expected when stowed but still very manageable. The tripod legs don't open out as wide as I'd like (the primos open pretty wide) but it still seems stable enough. The trigger mechanism that deploys the legs and adjusts up and down work well, quite smooth and quiet, easy to adjust height one handed with rifle resting on top.
If it does end up not being my cup of tea it won't be a total loss as you can unscrew the v-yoke and screw your camera on in place of the yolk so would make a decent camera pod.
If I do find I like it I will probably end up purchasing the Primos trigger stick as it should be a better product (I'd hope so for the price) overall, most likely being lighter and more compact with more adjustability.

I'm heading bush from tomorrow morning for 4-5 days so will get to test it in the field, will let you know my thoughts when I get back.

I won't be luging mine around the bush as it would never get used I got it for farm use on the long shots 200-400

I will be replacing the V thingy on the top with a padded channel bit to cradle the rifle on the balance point and let

rip , after I get some practice in and have it nutted out .

well while the grass is like it is ANM and when the grass gets back to normal I will drag the bipod and mat back out

I am even thinking of giving it a crack at 1000y

Well I gave mine a good workout over the last 5 days, I shot both targets (out to 200) and a few critters with the 308 and 243. I chest shot a fox with the 308 out around 212 metres according to the range finder and the end result wasn't pretty
The pod worked well and it was easy to hold steady on target and adjustment up/down/left/right is a breeze. I lugged it around the bush in 40 + degree heat for hours at a time, it wasn't heavy at all and I found it doubled as a hiking stick and came in quite handy for that purpose too. Only gripe I have with it, on top of what I've already mentioned in my first post, is that it doesn't go low enough to use in the seated position, fine in the kneeling position though but it's not comfortable being in that position for extended periods.
All in all though it's well worth the $$ I paid for it I reckon.

bloody oath mine rolled up this morning and I am impressed for the coin and will get another when he drops his price again

he put it up to $62 again there is another one selling from vic but I am a bit uneasy about his feed back .

At $62 it's still not a bad buy but I'd rather pay what we paid for it....

Put some pics up when you've done the mods to yours, will be interested to see what you've done and hear how it performs.

so far I don't think I will do any as it will be just for shooting on flat ground for bunnys and fox's when the grass is a foot + high

but if the legs need spring more I know where I will be filing .

Seems to be very well made, outstanding for the money.
How long it will last though only time can answer.

well considering the 2 legged one is $250 and the 3 legged one is just under $300 premos

at my LGS I would say they are great value . I have tried to get it to slip and the legs

will bend first so they are tough .

so the stiks fro the other seller rolled up today and all I can say is my reservations about him were right

the bolt in the head is way to big to screw in to the yoke .

D I think you'll find there are actually 2 size threads there, the outer thread is spring loaded and you push it down to reveal the smaller diameter thread.

and so you know how tall it is I am 5'10" and when I stand in front of it this is at eye level so it's the ducks nuts for shooting elevated positions

Mine is 165 cm to the centre of the yolk when fully extended, I'm 183 cm (6') tall and it is around nostril level on me.

181cm and it has matt black legs ..... and none of the parts are magnetic either ?

Gee that is tall, I'm assuming it wouldn't be as compact as the other one in the stowed position either?......the externals are aluminium and plastic, so yeah non magnetic, don't know what's going on inside, would like to know how they work.

what I meant was none of the screws .... nothing is magnetic

Just a follow up. As mentioned earlier in the post it's about 40 or 50mm too high if sitting. Has anyone successfully shortened one of these. Looks complicated.
Would welcome any suggestions.

Maybe a loop of rope so you can hang the rifle under or alongside the V?

Yeah, not bad, I was thinking a L shaped bit of steel clamped on the side. But shortening it is really the way to go
