All jokes aside, I often wonder when cutting up various hardwood firewood,,,, that most people don't look closely at the grain.
As well, a lot of grain doesn't really present itself well until it's highlighted by turps, kero, or for that matter even water.
So a lot of beautifully grained timber does end up in the fire.

I do not fear death itself... Only its inopportune timing!
And,,,,It's been proven,,,,, the most trustworthy females in my entire life were all canines.
