You're addicted to shooting when...

You instinctively start looking for the oil saturated rag, when the cutlery comes out of the dishwasher.

“Accidental Discharges” DO NOT OCCUR !!

An "Unintended Discharge" is nothing more than the lack of appropriate safety procedures or the failure to follow them..!

1: When your oldest, or at least one of the oldest, memories is the first time you pulled the trigger on a real gun. For me it was around age 5-6.

2: When you can look at the collection and say: "I've go a representative of every action style that a rifle come in; single shot, bolt, pump, lever, and semiautomatic. And it is almost true for centerfire as well as rimfire. Same for handguns; single shot, single action revolver, double action revolver, semiautomatic pistol, again in both centerfire and rimfire. When it comes to shotguns you lack only a lever action and a Darne sliding breech.

3: You got more guns than you are years old.
I've been asked: "How many guns do you need to have?" My answer remains the same: "One more."

When you try throwing scrunched up paper balls into bins and complain that you were 2 inches low or to the right when it misses.
If something doesn't work, apply rule .303!

My local has a Darne sliding breech sitting in a case out the back, I have been very tempted just because they never seem to come available for sale and I don't have one.

A kidney gun ?????????????
I always thought it was commonly called a "leg of mutton gun"

And,,,,, I should be able to get at least 2 more guns,,,,,, I could trade both left AND right nut as they're not needed anymore.

I frequent the forum several times a day,,,, and sometimes at odd times throughout the night.
BUT I'M NOT ADDICTED EITHER.

When you're stressed about keeping guns in gunsocks to protect against bumps in safe vs no socks because that just looks badass that way.

A friend told me one symptom is when you're watching a corny old western with your favorite lever gun in your hands.
There's still a few of Wile. E Coyote's ideas that I haven't tried yet.
