Brass shortages a problem for most people?

Just wondering if people elsewhere are still having trouble getting brass?

I've been frequenting my local gun stores for 2-3 months now and am lucky to come across a single bag of what I need once every 5-6 weeks.

I'm only after .308 brass ffs

Getting to the point where I might have to buy fired brass from some fellow shooters instead of the gun stores.

I think most people have been having this problem for a few months.

Gotta grab a few bags as soon as you see them. Stock up 300-400 brass and it will last you ages.

That's it. I usually buy about 6 months of shooting supplies at a time these days to avoid the shortages in supplies.

Stock up 300-400 brass and it will last you ages.

You gotta fork out $400 for brass you're not going to use quickly though which kind of sucks

I have bought from bothe these crowds and never had a problem, they both have plenty.

I bought a shirtload of 7.62 x 51 and 5.56 boxer primed brass from the local scrap guy, $2 a kilo,[ last century ] formed 7.62 into 243,still using it.There were also 45/70 blanks which were used like big ramset charges to drive a punch through the web of railway irons for the fishplate bolts,got a bunch of them too.

There are some ripper deals now and then. Gotta be lucky and be there at the right time to grab em though

Really wish Australia's supply was a bit more regular.
