Quick one...

Should I waste money buying a "Proper" brush for my 9mm or would an old toothbrush also do the same job?

New toothbrushes are good for cleaning, new denture brushes are bigger and have stiffer bristles. I wouldn't choose a used brush, they are very cheap new.

Tooth brushes do come in handy you can also buy a small set of various brushes from cheapo shops.
