Remington Scirocco ammunition not available?

Has anyone here used or seen the Remington Scirocco ammunition in stores?

I've been keeping an eye out for it for seriously 7-8 months, just to give it a try after reading good things, and nada.

Haven't seen it at all.

Do we even get it here?

AFAIK it's here, it's just very expensive.

Expensive yes, but I think it's just getting bought up in the states before it reaches us for the most part.

Same problem as always for the Australian shooting scene.

Projectiles are $120 for 100 from memory?

Plenty of hunting and match bullets half that price which will do whatever job you're after fine IMO.

Before posting on the forum I did some Googleing and found plenty of others talking it up or looking for it themselves.

Even tried one special order at one of the LGS and gave up and got my money back after 3 months to buy other ammo :/

I was told the same when I enquired about it.

This was about a year ago so couldn't say for the current state of affairs, but yeah, at the time it was just that it was getting snapped up locally in the US before they would ship it.

One of the guys here was trying to get a synthetic Ruger and found it was going to take a year to get one in his calibre

Ended up buying a second hand one from a mate.
