Hi bigjobss.
I went a different route.
I spent $15 on a cheap microfibre quilt when a department store had stocktake sale around 7 or 8 yrs ago..
I had a girlfriend with a sewing machine cut it down (it was a queen so just ripped it down (cut it) so its just wide enough to cover the bag & down the sides).
Its maybe a little bulky when folded up but squashes down or rolls up to pretty small.
I figured if i destroy it in 2 years i dont care...8 yrs on & its still going strong & VERY warm.
As a carpenter, i also have a length of 'Kingspan Aircell" foil insulation i kept off a job (6mm thick)--its rated to R 1.6 & is cut to the size of my swag to stop the cold coming up from the ground & reflect my body heat back up at me, its very effective & just rolls up in the swag.
Last year i also bought a better bag, but even before that i was toasty as...!!!
The man who knows everything, doesnt really know everything...he's just stopped learning...
